Unique "Batak" house with beautiful ocean view

The whole construction is made out of tropical wood, Merbau/Borneo Teak (floor) and Mahogany (walls) and built on very solid ground. The roof is out of palm hair (woodfiber). The house was prefabricated in Java and put back together again in Corn Island. It is one of three existing "Batak" houses outside of Java and includes:

- a living space of approx. 100m2,

- covered porch

- an open living/dining/kitchen,

- 2 bedrooms (3,5x5m, 2,5x3m) one with A/C,

- 1 toilet/shower and store room,
